Dan focuses his practice on general corporate and securities law matters. He represents public and private companies in the construction and energy industries and a wide variety of other sectors. 

Prior to joining the firm, he served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he was an assistant counsel for legislation, fiscal, and general law with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In that role, he handled legal, contractual, and regulatory matters around military construction, government contracting, legislative drafting, and renewable energy development. He was the lead attorney for the drafting, negotiation, and implementation of an interagency agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs concerning up to $5 billion in construction work. He also was the lead attorney on the drafting of an agreement with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding regulation of hydropower projects. He also served as a military social aide at the White House under President Barack Obama.

During and immediately following law school, Dan completed several internships. He worked as a legal intern in the Administrative Law Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, at a Massachusetts personal injury and land use law firm, and at a private equity real estate investment firm. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth M. Fahey of the Massachusetts Superior Court. In law school, he was note editor for the Boston College International and Comparative Law Review.
