David’s experience covers many disciplines within commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and the representation of borrowers in commercial loans. His real estate practice is both national and local in practice.

His experience includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating office and retail leases for major entities as well as conducting real estate transactions for a range of commercial properties, including plant facilities, shopping malls, restaurants, office buildings, and an athletic facility to which he also served as general counsel.

David has also represented real estate funds and other real estate entities as borrowers in various types of financing, including CMBS loans.

Prior to joining Mintz Levin, David worked for another prominent New York law firm. Prior to that, David was a partner in a law firm in Chicago.

Representative Matters

  • Represented a public company data center owner/operator client on a 9 MW lease for a global computer software and hardware company
  • Obtained a $134,250,000 loan for a commercial office building in Washington, DC
  • Negotiated an approximately 750,000 square foot data center lease in New Jersey
  • Acquired an approximately 350,000 square foot building in Bethesda, Maryland (including the assumption of a $53,000,000 loan)
