With over eight years of experience, Gurneet represents various entities ranging from individual inventors to large multinationals before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Gurneet’s practice emphasizes all aspects of patent prosecution in different areas including medical devices, software, signal processing, communication, and sports. In these areas, he interviews patent applicants for invention disclosures, drafts and prosecutes patent applications, and handles issuance and maintenance of patents. He also performs patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and assists on due-diligence projects.

Gurneet's experience includes engineering research at UCLA Engineering, UCLA School of Medicine, ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay. While at University of California, he served as a graduate student researcher and a teaching assistant. Additionally, Gurneet represented India multiple times in ITF Junior World Ranking Tennis Tournaments in singles and doubles categories.
