Inna applies her broad spectrum of knowledge to representing clients on a range of intellectual property issues. Her clients are primarily engaged in consumer electronics, software, medical devices and systems, bioinformatics, imaging, networking technologies, semiconductors, biotechnology, speech recognition, and defense.

Her practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, drafting infringement and validity opinions, conducting patentability and freedom to operate studies, and providing strategic portfolio counseling.

Inna’s doctoral work involved development of computational analysis tools for genotype and epidemiological data. During this time, she developed and implemented software tools that are currently used worldwide by researchers and health practitioners. Inna also completed research on image recognition, mathematical representation of DNA/protein interactions, and computational analysis of genomic data. She also discovered and analyzed a novel group I intron in a tRNA gene of a deep subsurface bacterium, as part of an interdisciplinary Origins of Life Program sponsored by the NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training.

During law school, Inna received the Jurisprudence Award in Commercial Law Sales, the Jurisprudence Award in Professional Responsibility, and First Prize in ASCAP Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition (Copyright Law).
