Kate’s practice revolves around Corporate and Securities matters with a primary focus on start-up legal issues. She advises early-stage and emerging companies on matters including formation and growth, governance, angel and venture capital financing transactions, intellectual property and various employment and service contracts.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Kate worked as an associate at a prominent, Boston-based law firm. During her time there she oversaw five new client originations in the technology, retail and nonprofit sectors, as well as the internal reorganization of a global satellite company across six jurisdictions where she was responsible for coordinating with local counsel, drafting transfer and governance documents and completing due diligence for the transfer of all company assets.

Before law school, Kate served as a disability policy analyst for Tennessee's Congressionally mandated protection and advocacy agency and was a Varsity Division I rower for Rutgers Women's Crew.
