Two Mintz Members Named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2021 Women of Influence: Attorneys List

Mintz is pleased to announce that Members Arameh Zargham O’Boyle and Abigail O'Brient have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2021 Women of Influence: Attorneys list. Notably, this is the fourth consecutive year that Ms. O’Boyle has been included in the prestigious list, and the second consecutive year of recognition for Ms. O’Brient. A highly selective honor, less than 100 women in the Los Angeles region were chosen and featured in the publication’s special supplement, which was published on April 26.

In her more than a decade of practice, Ms. O’Boyle has become one of the most sought-after attorneys that product innovators and manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, medical device, personal care, and cosmetic sectors rely upon when faced with potential or actual litigation. She concentrates her practice on defending companies in product liability litigation. In addition, she is active in Mintz’s robust diversity and community initiatives led out of the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Ms. O’Brient’s wide-ranging insolvency and litigation practice focuses on representation of secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases and other insolvency proceedings in California and nationwide. She routinely represents parties in litigation related to insolvency and distressed debt in state and federal court, as well as purchasers and sellers of distressed assets and bankruptcy trustees, receivers, and other fiduciaries. Ms. O’Brient’s clients value her practical, business-oriented approach to resolving legal issues and her ability to coordinate and manage proceedings pending in multiple courts to achieve positive litigation outcomes.

The 2021 Women of Influence: Attorneys honorees, including Ms. O’Boyle and Ms. O’Brient, were selected for their exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.
