Josh focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, with a concentration in real estate finance, digital infrastructure, and powered land transactions. He advises owners, operators, and developers on construction financing and complex credit structures, creating tailored long-term financing solutions that support evolving business objectives.
He has extensive experience with acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and real estate development projects. His clients include private equity firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, alternative lenders, and real estate owners and developers. Josh also assists clients by integrating real estate strategies into private equity, M&A, restructuring, public finance, and infrastructure transactions. He co-authored an article in the Real Estate Finance Journal discussing strategies for underwriting, acquiring, and resolving distressed real estate debt, offering insights into complex financing challenges.
Josh advises clients on digital infrastructure transactions, including powered land and data center projects, as well as data center leasing for landlords and tenants. He represented Tonaquint Data Centers, a DIF Capital Partners portfolio company, in its acquisition of EdgeX Data Centers, a deal that expanded Tonaquint’s footprint across the Mountain West and Southwest and added powered land assets in emerging markets.
Prior to joining Mintz, Josh practiced at several international law firms in their real estate finance groups and completed an eight-month secondment with a global alternative asset management firm, gaining hands-on experience in structuring complex debt and equity real estate investments.
Josh remains active with the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association, mentoring students and assisting with interviews and job search preparation.

- Represented real estate private equity firm in a:
- $250M warehousing credit facility for the acquisition of nine (9) industrial properties in six (6) jurisdictions.
- $200M warehousing credit facility for the acquisition of seven (7) industrial properties in five (5) jurisdictions.
- Represented real estate private equity firm in a $240M refinancing of a warehousing portfolio of sixteen (16) industrial properties in eight (8) jurisdictions.
- Represented national fresh food and indoor farming company in a $150M refinancing of its portfolio of three (3) owned and seven (7) leased real properties in seven (7) jurisdictions.
- Represented alternative asset management firm in a consensual foreclosure and a $200M refinancing of four (4) multi-family assets.
- Represented real estate firm in a $67M refinancing of a mixed-use development.
- Represented family office in a:
- $105M senior construction loan and $30M mezzanine construction loan for the ground up development of industrial and retail properties.
