Mintz’s tireless advocacy on behalf of an asylum-seeking family from El Salvador, which resulted in grants of asylum and SIJS, made a profound impact on an entire household who will no longer fear return to abuse or death.

Mintz attorneys have assisted older adults whose lives had been deeply affected by the lack of identity documents that didn’t match their gender, including many who were informally or marginally employed.

When the fifth circuit ultimately rules on whether patients must pay for PrEP HIV treatments, the ruling could have ramifications on a broad range of other preventative services requirements under the Affordable Care Act. The Mintz legal team continues to follow and contribute to this important case.

Working with Ukrainians taking refuge in a variety of countries due to the conflict in their native land, the Mintz team launched and incorporated a US nonprofit with a US board for their benefit. By the spring of 2023, the nonprofit has raised several million dollars.
