Mintz has been recognized by The Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s Best Law Firms for 2025, gaining distinction in the “Private Equity and Investments” category specifically. This is the second consecutive year the firm has been included on this list.

Mintz attorneys Ian Hammel and Eric Blythe received a “Turnaround of the Year” award from the Minnesota Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). 

Pro Bono Committee Chair Susan Finegan was profiled by BC Law Magazine ahead of receiving the BBA Thurgood Marshall Award at the Annual BBA meeting in November. The magazine discusses Sue’s long and dedicated history of pro bono service. 

Benchmark Litigation has recognized seventeen Mintz Members in its 2024 guide to the leading litigation firms and lawyers in the US. The firm was also acknowledged for its work in Massachusetts, being named “Highly Recommended” in the Commonwealth and received top-tier rankings across three practice categories, including General Commercial, Insurance, and White Collar.

Mintz Pro Bono Committee Chair and litigation member Susan Finegan will receive the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) Thurgood Marshall Award at its annual meeting on November 14. The award “honors Boston attorneys in the private bar whose extraordinary work has enhanced the human dignity of others.”

Mintz is pleased to announce that 31 attorneys have been named Massachusetts Super Lawyers and 35 attorneys have been named Massachusetts Rising Stars for 2024.

Mintz announced that it has been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) 2024 “Most Admired Law Firms To Work For” list. LABJ selects firms that are “consciously working towards creating diverse, positive, and supportive environments to help drive the success of their attorneys,” according to the publication. 

Mintz Member Esteban Morales was named a 2024 “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Recorder in its 2024 California Legal Awards. The award recognizes “the next generation of legal leaders under the age of 40.”

Mintz announced that its DC office Managing Member Michelle N. Lipkowitz has been named a finalist for The National Law Journal’s inaugural “DC Managing Partner of the Year” award. The award recognizes “business leadership prowess” and highlights “notable initiatives and successes around law firm management,” according to the publication. The winner will be announced at an awards dinner on October 24. 

Mintz is pleased to announce that ten Toronto Partners have been recognized as leaders by Best Lawyers® in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada©. 

Mintz’s cross-border Life Sciences practice has been shortlisted in multiple categories in the LMG Life Sciences Awards 2024 Americas. Winners will be announced on September 5th. 

Mintz announced that Members Fred Hernandez and Ken Jenkins were named 2024 “Leaders of Influence in Life Sciences” by San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) which recognizes individuals who are making significant contributions to the advancement of science, healthcare, and innovation in San Diego. 

Mintz announced that it has been shortlisted in the 2024 New England Legal Awards in the “Litigation Departments of the Year: Intellectual Property” category. The awards recognize attorneys and firms in Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. The winner will be announced on September 26. 

Three Mintz members practicing in three different geographic areas have been recognized by Lawdragon in its 2024 “500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers” list.

Seven Mintz attorneys were recognized in Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 “40 & Under List” which spotlights the “top emerging talent in litigation” who are 40 years old and under. The annual “40 & Under List” is compiled through peer and client review, as well as consideration of individual cases.
