Only five percent of lawyers are recognized to the annual Super Lawyers list, which is a compilation of “outstanding lawyers...who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement,” as determined by a multiphase process consisting of independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. With no more than 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys recognized, the Rising Stars list consists of candidates age 40 and younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
