The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity recognized Karen Won as a fellow for the 2022 Program. The Fellows Program is a leadership program for mid-career attorneys of color at LCLD Member organizations with demonstrated engagement within the community.

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity recognized Nadia Do Canto and Iris Hsiao as part of its 2022 Pathfinder Program. The Pathfinder Program is a leadership program for early-career attorneys of color.

Future Leaders Program

Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

Minjaj Rahman, Alain Mathieu, and Brendan Lowd participated in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Future Leaders Program in 2021/2022. The program provides emerging leaders with a socially conscious and civically engaged leadership toolkit, as well as the opportunity to apply their knowledge through experiential assignments.

Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll 

D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center’s Access to Justice Commission

The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center’s Access to Justice Commission named Danielle Berzenay, Elizabeth Conti, Ellen Farrell, Joanne Hawana, and O’Kelly McWilliams to its 2021 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. 

Innovations in Diversity and Inclusion

California Law Awards

Member Randy Jones and Associate Nicole Rivers won the Innovations in Diversity and Inclusion award at the California Law Awards for their work leading the Addressing Racial Inequality Group, a Mintz San Diego Office-based committee dedicated to using their legal skills to end systemic racism and police brutality in America.

AILA New England Chapter Pro Bono Award

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) awarded its New England Afghan Task Force, including Mintz member John Quill and Immigration Practice Manager Danielle Lifrieri, with the AILA New England Chapter Pro Bono Award. This award recognizes the team’s tremendous efforts assisting with humanitarian parole applications and providing exemplary pro bono legal representation to this particularly vulnerable community.

Pro Bono Honor Roll

Massachusetts Supreme Court Judicial Court

The Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services of the Massachusetts Supreme Court Judicial Court named 18 Mintz lawyers to its 2021 Pro Bono Honor Roll for individual attorneys, and 21 to its High Honor Roll

The distinction requires a minimum of 50 hours of pro bono legal services in the previous calendar year, and 100 for the high honor roll.
